On the 10th of November two racehorses from our Dióspuszta thoroughbred stud ran on the Milan San Siro racetrack. Cirfandli brought us the long-awaited first so-called Black Type result, when finishing on a place in a major race.
We organized the Eventing Championship with almost 140 starts on the last weekend. We celebrated our new individual winners in the junior, young rider and senior classes. This was the last show in eventing and in Bábolna in 2018.
After the success of My Luck in 2016, our Dióspuszta Thoroughbred Stud gave the Horse of the Year to the Hungarian horseracing also this year. Esti Fény won the Hungarian St. Leger on Sunday, and secured his new title.
The winner of the 96. Hungarian Derby, Esti Fény from Dióspuszta, won the Kincsem Prize confidently against older horses on the 9th of September. The Pigeon Catcher – Ejtihaad colt, trained by Csaba Zala, was ridden again by Tamás Nagy.
