Esti Fény (Pigeon Catcher – Ejtihaad) won the 96th Hungarian Derby in Kincsem Park. Tamás Nagy has ridden the colt trained by Csaba Zala. Our Dióspuszta Stud gave the 19th Derby winner to the Hungarian horseracing with this result.
Four Grand Prix classes were organized at our international show jumping competition on the first weekend of June in Bábolna. The rider of our stud, Mátyás Bertók and our Shagya-Arabian stallion, Shagya VII-3 won the VIP Tour class on Sunday.
The English thoroughbreds from our Dióspuszta Stud had a successful weekend again on the racetrack of Budapest. We finished on the second place in the important Alag Prize in Kincsem Park, and won two races on the raceday.
The first big races for three-year-olds, the Hazafi Prize (1000 Guineas) and Nemzeti Prize (2000 Guineas) were held on the 6 May in Kincsem Park. We are proud that our horses became the best Hungarian bred horses in both races.
